Register for Classes
Clay by Stacia offers hand building classes. Learn the techniques of creating and glazing your own handmade functional pottery! Use the form on my contact page to request more information or to register!
I will be offering adult classes (age 16+) for beginning to intermediate hand building. No clay experience is necessary. We will concentrate on slab and extruding skills, but may also incorporate pinch pots and coil building. If some students also want to take turns learning wheel skills, we can do a rotation, as I only have two wheels. Classes will be held at my home studio in Kyle, TX.
Each class includes instruction, glazes, firing, and 25 pounds of clay. Additional clay can be purchased for $10 per 25 pound bag. Bringing your own beginning pottery tools set (such as this) is optional, but recommended if you plan to continue in clay. They can be purchased online or locally at craft supply stores.
Price is $166 per student for each 6 week session. My upcoming Spring 2020 sessions are unfortunately suspended until the coronavirus threat is more contained. If you are interested in classes, please let me know through the contact page, and I will let you know when classes are starting up again.
Summer and Fall class dates to be announced.
I have a maximum of four slots available each session. $83 is due to secure your spot, and $83 at the first lesson. I accept cash, check, Facebook payments, PayPal, or credit/debit.

Missed lesson policy:
If you miss a lesson due to forgetting, personal business, or ordinary life circumstance, I'm sorry, but I cannot offer reimbursement.
Lessons missed due to emergencies will be dealt with on a case by case basis. I may offer a make-up lesson in a concurrent session if the class is not full, or a reduced price on a future session. Only if these options are not possible will reimbursement be offered. Thank you!
